Gartner highlighted Aruba’s AirWave network management technology and ClearPass secure network access control technology as “some of the most complete solutions in the market.”

The six categories Aruba won:

Unified Wired and WLAN Access – HPE Aruba: 4.04 (1st), Cisco: 3.83 (2nd)

Wired-Only Refresh/New Build – HPE Aruba: 3.96 (1st), Cisco: 3.76 (4th)

This significant win follows a successful year for Aruba with sales up 40 percent in the 2017 fiscal year. Aruba have capitalised on Cisco’s weaknesses and where customers have been dissatisfied with Cisco’s additional SMARTNet expense and its high maintenance costs, Aruba have been able to offer an alternative Networking Solution that is now ranked 1st in its category in the World’s Leading Independent Report.
