If you hold a management position within the education sector, then you may be interested to know of a new funding stream available to institutions from HEFCE.
Have you ever considered running a small scale, experimental innovative project in learning and teaching, but just didn’t have the budget for it?
Then HEFCE may have the solution. Funds of up to £50,000 are available under Call A for projects set to deliver rapid short-term outputs (defined as an 18-month period) and for larger projects, up to £500,000 is also offered under Call B for proposals designed to address barriers that prevent student attainment.
There’s now nothing to stop you making that Learning Analytics project happen!
The funding is available to institutions looking to develop their own Learning and Predictive Analytics projects. Successful applicants will be asked to demonstrate that the funding will be used to:
“Develop the use of Learner Analytics for defined pedagogic objectives.”
And that’s where our learning analytics team at Solutionpath can help.
Developed within the sector, StREAM is designed to help Universities personalise engagement and improve student attainment. It can also support you to:
• Increase retention
• Protect revenues
• Enrich the student experience
• Improve institutional reputation and NSS scores
Leading research institutes such as Gartner and PA Consulting have advised that student analytics should be a strategic imperative for all Universities. So what are you waiting for? We already partner with Nottingham Trent University, University West of Scotland and Coventry University
