As one of HP and HPE’s UK Public Sector focused expert partners, DTP Group has recently been named as a supplier on the Technology Products & Associated Services (TePAS) RM6068 framework, a multi-billion pound procurement agreement managed by Crown Commercial Services.
The framework, which replaces the existing Technology Products 2 agreement, supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common IT related goods and services.
DTP is able to supply hardware and associated services within Lot 2 throughout the initial two-year lifecycle of the agreement. This includes end user compute (PC, laptop and tablet), and enterprise solutions relating to the Hybrid data centre, including server, storage and networking as well as related services.
By procuring on the framework, Public Sector organisations benefit from consistently competitive pricing and high levels of quality service. To feature on the framework, suppliers were asked to complete a rigorous tender process. The framework is now live and can be used by public sector organisations with immediate effect.
Howard Hall, Founder and Group Managing Director of DTP commented “When DTP was founded 33 years ago, we worked with a handful of university clients. Fast forward to 2020 and we now serve around 70% of the Higher Education market providing solutions that cover end user compute, enterprise and managed print services – and this expertise is extremely relevant to the wider Public Sector.
Being a supplier on the new TePAS framework agreement will allow us to offer our wealth of knowledge and experience around cost savings, driving efficiencies and enhancing the services on offer to end users and clients to all public sector organisations.”
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2018/19, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth £945m – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
