HPE has agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) to make their technologies available to the public sector at new market beating prices.
Signed as part of the One Government Cloud Strategy, the MoU further strengthens the relationship between HPE and the UK Government. The One Government Cloud Strategy, launched in 2020, acknowledges that public sector cloud strategies include public, hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
HPE GreenLake cloud services – HPE GreenLake offers a significant opportunity to help the public sector embrace the cloud experience at the edge, in the data centre, or in a colocation facility – a simpler, more cost-effective way to pursue “cloud-first” digital transformation.
HPE Aruba networking solutions – free up valuable resources, overcome technology silos and increase security across networks.
HPE servers – the servers you know and respect are now at more affordable prices.
HPE storage with AI platform HPE InfoSight – superior infrastructure with the industry’s most intelligent self-managing infrastructure.
In partnership with HPE, it’s our policy never to be beaten on price. DTP has a long standing relationship with the public sector and supplies technology products – such as laptops and workstations, printers and managed print services, and infrastructure solutions – on a number of different public sector frameworks.
The Crown Commercial Service is the biggest public sector procurement organisation in the UK. It serves buyers in central, devolved and local government, education and healthcare, as well as organisations like the BBC and the Bank of England. The main way of buying is through framework agreements such as RM6068 – Technology Products and Associated Services (TePAS). These consist of a description of common public sector requirements, a list of approved suppliers, and standard contract terms.
Public sector organisations choose to procure through the CCS frameworks for their buying power and well-established purchasing options, and best value through a fast, efficient process that complies with public sector procurement regulations.
