ENSURING A SEAMLESS TRANSITION WITH MINIMAL DOWNTIME
Natures Way Foods operates two data centres on their premises, and these are connected via private fibre, which provides the necessary redundancy and failover capabilities. DTP meticulously orchestrated the transition to HPE Alletra and HPE Synergy, thereby ensuring minimal downtime during the migration from older storage units to Alletra 9000 over a carefully planned two-week span. The implementation involved seamlessly moving HPE 3PAR storage arrays to the new Alletra 9000, allowing for an uninterrupted transition.

We were able to consolidate a number of traditional and solid-state storage arrays into a modern business-critical array with All-NVMe performance, ultra-low latency, and guaranteed 100% data availability.

Modernisation efforts at Natures Way Foods resulted in a notable performance boost, particularly in their Dynamics AX ERP system, where daily processes saw a significant reduction in processing time, thereby improving operational efficiency. Certain processes are run on a daily basis, typically for an hour each. This time has been cut down to 10 or 20 minutes now and because they run so regularly, the time saved is remarkable.
Inside their factories, where efficiency is paramount, the upgrade brought about accelerated operations and reduced SQL database blocks, which resulted in quicker task completion and fewer interruptions. Consolidating their server infrastructure simplified day-to-day management, which made overall operations more efficient and contributed to a smoother workflow.

The successful implementation of HPE Alletra and HPE Synergy significantly enhanced Natures Way Foods’ IT landscape.
