Earlier this year, HP introduced their Amplify Impact programme for partners to extend their influence on climate change, human rights and the digital divide.
The programme’s mission is to drive sustainable accountability throughout the IT industry and DTP Group were elated to have received a 4-star Sustainable Impact award, formalising our inherent dedication to driving meaningful change across three key pillars:
- Planet – with an emphasis on climate change to drive towards a net-zero carbon, fully regenerative circular economy.
- People – with an emphasis on human rights and social justice, enabling people to thrive and cultivating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.
- Community – with an emphasis on bridging the digital divide, empowering communities through the power of technology and supporting the access to IT in education, jobs and healthcare.
An ecosystem of accountability
To achieve the award, DTP had to evidence the ways in which we support the creation of a circular and low carbon economy, and improve the resilience of local communities.
Howard Hall, Group Managing Director at DTP Group said “we have always taken our environmental stewardship extremely seriously and are committed to acting responsibly in all we do. The award allows us to continue the great initiatives we already have in place, drive on-going environmental improvements, and leverage the sustainability focus and leadership from our partner, HP. By leading the Sustainable Impact conversation, it is our hope that we can build rich relationships with our customers and support them on their environmental journeys, in whatever way we can.”
The creation of the Amplify Impact programme is a step forward in HP’s ambitious goal to become the most sustainable technology company by 2030 and helps to empower partners to set bold, long-term objectives to drive positive impact.
With the launch of the programme, Neil Sawyer, Director of Channel & Partner Alliances at HP commented “Sustainable Impact is at the heart of HP’s reinvention journey. It drives the way our products are designed, made, used, and regenerated. However, we know HP can’t do it alone. That is why we created the HP Partner Sustainable Impact Award, which recognises partners for their efforts to drive positive sustainable impact. We are driven to share all that we have learned to accelerate the progress across the IT ecosystem, together.”
