Neil Parker is DTP Group’s Senior Network Architect, bringing over 30 years of impressive experience in IT and networking.
Neil has witnessed – and actively contributed to – the transformation of networking and computing. He began his career as a PC Support Engineer during the dawn of PC networking, a role that harnessed his natural problem-solving abilities. Rising through the ranks, Neil became Head of Group IT Infrastructure for a global publishing organisation, managing diverse projects that delivered innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Since joining DTP in 2011, Neil has leveraged his extensive experience to help clients navigate the ever-changing landscape of IT. Having worked both as a consumer of IT services and now as a consultant, Neil understands projects from both sides, providing unique insights into client requirements, solution design, and seamless delivery.
Neil specialises in networking, both wired and wireless, with a focus on security, management, and high-performance solutions. He deployed his first wireless environment in 1996 and has continuously advanced his expertise, including designing a web-based client authentication platform that served a client for nearly a decade.
Neil is passionate about using HPE/Aruba technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions, particularly the Aruba ClearPass platform, which he has refined to enable zero-touch deployments and unparalleled access management. His innovative approach includes developing a unique ClearPass design and documentation tool, ensuring DTP clients receive exceptional solutions and comprehensive, user-friendly documentation.
