As we continue into week seven of the UK Covid-19 lockdown, and without a clear picture of how long it will be until our customers are back up and running at their various sites, we have put together a few advisories for protecting and maintaining your print equipment whilst in the case of no/low usage of print.
Whilst your printers are taking a little downtime, it’s important to follow the below guidance to keep them in tip-top condition so that they’re ready to go again once “normality” resumes.
DTP and HP want our customers to have the information they need to effectively clean HP devices and to maintain a healthy work environment.
The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends cleaning surfaces, followed by disinfection, as a best practice for the prevention of Coronavirus and other viral respiratory illnesses in households and community settings.
