Meanwhile Gartner predict that AI could be used to support governance, trustworthiness, reliability and even data protection, as the use of AI controls can help with privacy and ethics issues. It has been predicted that the AI market could grow to a $190 billion industry by 2023 as it continues to spread across new sectors, jobs, testing or development, also becoming a useful skill to secure top paying jobs.
What is the metaverse? The metaverse looks at blurring the lines between the physical and the digital, creating a ‘single, shared, immersive, persistent, 3D virtual space’. It has been predicted that during this year, developments within the metaverse may see enhanced and realistic avatar technologies becoming more immersive. For businesses, Forbes report that the Metaverse will also become advantageous for organisations, helping create a more remote, efficient and intelligent workflows.
With climate change remaining one of the greatest threats we currently face, more consumers are beginning to take into consideration sustainability with their consumption, purchases, and businesses relationships. Gartner expects sustainable technology solutions to be in the top 5 priorities for organisations this year.
