Our eighth annual DTP Inspire Conference took place this week at Leeds Beckett’s conference facility Cloth Hall Court. The two-day conference began with a reflection on how we have grown and developed as a business in FY18/19 and an update on our ongoing strategy. We then heard from our partners at HP and HPE who presented on megatrends and innovations with the industry, followed by some invaluable training sessions.
Dr Andy Cope delivered a workshop on ‘The Art of Being Brilliant’, sharing some of the ‘secrets’ of Positive Psychology, focusing on learning new habits of thinking and behaviour that will sustain personal ‘brilliance’.
We also celebrated the year’s successes with a staff awards ceremony at our annual Gala Dinner at the Restaurant Bar & Grill at the landmark Old Post Office building in Leeds City Centre. Congratulations to all those who were nominated for the awards and especially to this year’s well-deserved winners.
And finally, many thanks to all of you who supported our chosen charity, Byte Night – Action for Children, by purchasing tickets for the charity raffle. A huge thank you to all of our suppliers and partners for their generosity in donating the fantastic prizes. We are delighted to announce we raised a grand total of £806, an amazing amount that will support the great work the charity does to prevent youth homelessness.
We look forward to continuing our brilliance throughout the next year and seeing what DTP Inspire 2020 will bring!
