Solutionpath sponsors next week's CISG Birmingham event

Solutionpath are looking forward to attending the Corporate Information Systems Group (CISG) learner analytics event hosted by UCISA in Birmingham next week (Tuesday, 12th April).

Taking place at Austin Court in the city centre, the event entitled CISG Learner Analytics – So Many Questions promises to throw up a range of issues for discussion on the topic of learner analytics, and we are happy to give our two pennies’ worth!

The seminar has placed questions relating to retention, measurement, extraction and presentation of data, ethics and permissions high up on its agenda, and we feel best placed to not only discuss these considerations with attendees, but in many cases to also offer a solution.

StREAM predictive analytics service for the higher education

Since its launch, our award winning tool set StREAM has revolutionised learner analytics with its capabilities in the areas of risk and retention, progression and attainment, attendance monitoring and CPD, as well as UK VI compliance and management.

Working with many academic institutions in implementing StREAM and witnessing the results it produces has given us plenty of fresh ideas and perspectives, and we look forward to sharing these with fellow delegates in Birmingham.

In the field of learner analytics, it always pays dividends to keep your ears to the ground at all times. The event will include a series of presentations and case studies, explaining not only the value of learning analytics, but the different approaches that have worked for various institutions.

Learning analytics is a subject that often throws up more questions than answers for many colleges and universities that are getting to grips with it. This event is a great opportunity for us as solution providers to impart some key information, and dispel some common misconceptions that we see time and again!

So if you are a corporate systems manager, project manager, BI developer, or a member of an institution’s student support staff that is interested in learning more about learning and predictive analytics, please do come and say hello.

Let’s get together and find out.
